2018 is a big year for the Mekong Riverview Hotel, and as you may have heard, one of our biggest and most anticipated projects of the year is the creation of our very own Palm Tree Health Spa. This has been a long process with many challenges, as we ensure that each stage is completed to the highest standard. One of the first challenges we faced, was finding someone who can create, teach and drive the Spa therapy knowledge and training.
So without further ado, let us introduce Keo, our Spa Assistant Manager. Keo joined us in March this year to help shape the direction and balance of what is needed to actually create our Spa experience. With over 10 years’ experience of working within the Spa industry she has excellent credentials not only to train our team of therapists but also to pick out the best quality and naturally beneficial products to be used on our clients during their massage and treatments.
Keo first started working in the industry at the age of 21 whilst studying in University and very quickly she found a real passion for what she was doing. This passion was driven from the satisfaction and pride in bringing stress release and relaxation to her clients. Keo is under no illusions that this is her biggest test to date in the industry, as this is her first solo campaign to create a full massage and treatment program alongside training a full team of therapists up to the same high standard that she sets for herself.
As the next few months progress the whole project will be coming together, with not only the training of the therapists and staff but also the physical completion of the grounds, treatment and massage rooms, swimming pool, bistro, badminton and much more. We are thrilled for the progression of this new project and we hope that you are also. Stay tuned here and on social media for further updates regarding development and completion dates, currently estimated at around September/October, and we hope to see you soon.
