Inspired by the beautiful surroundings, Palm Tree Health Spa is a peaceful, light-filled space, only a short distance across from our hotel (see map below). Here, you can unwind, indulge in a soothing, luxurious spa treatment, relax by our salt water pool or enjoy a delicious snack in our bistro. Use the contact form to book your professional massage treatment or to ask any questions. Also, we're happy to read your reviews on Tripadvisor!
Salt Water Swimming Pool
Enjoy our 7m by 15m (22 by 50 ft) Natural Salt Water Pool for some exercise or to cool down on a hot day. During wintertime, when temperatures can be quite low in Laos, the pool is heated to 32°c. The pool features a smaller kids pool as well as a whirlpool area. Please enjoy the benefits of a Salt Water Pool: Because it has lower chlorine levels, a saltwater pool will not have the same harsh effects on the body compared to a regular chlorine based pool. By using a Natural Salt Water Pool, your skin is far less exposed to being striped of its natural oils. Access to the pool is free for all hotel guests and included in all purchased treatments by outside guests.
Luxurious Spa and Massage Treatments

We offer a small selection of healthy lunch or dinner options and refreshing beverages in our bistro.
Other facilities include Badminton area, Table Tennis and in the future a Steam Room, a Sauna and a Gym.
How to get to your luxurious spa experience?
Due to UNESCO regulations, no pools are allowed on the peninsula. Therefore, our Spa is located across from the hotel on the other side of the Nam Khan River. There are a variety of ways to get to the Spa, transportation is free for all hotel guests. Outside guests booking a massage treatment are also entitled to free transportation - just come to our Reception at the Mekong Riverview Hotel.
1. (7-8 minutes) by boat and by foot over the bamboo bridge (downstairs from our Viewpoint Restaurant): a gentle 2 minute boat ride brings you over the Nam Khan. In wintertime, the bamboo bridge can be crossed by foot. Then, either take a right and walk another 300m on the paved road on follow it on the right side until you reach the Spa, or get picked up by our Electrical Car just above the stairs from the bamboo bridge, at the little temple.
2. (15 minute) by minivan from the hotel (other way around, over the big bridge).
